About Us & our Farm

We are the Stoner Family; Ken, Julie & our 3 girls. We reside in NW Indiana. Ken, along side his dad, have been raising show lambs for many years. In 2014, we opened Stoner Family Farms at the local farmers market, selling pasture-raised lamb meat. Each year has brought slight growth. Today, we offer several other items for sale: eggs, honey, beeswax products, goats milk soap, baked goods and seasonal vegetables.

Our lamb is not available for shipping at this time. But here is some information about it especially for those local to us.

Our lambs are fed a mixture fresh grasses/hay & a grain ration. We take our lambs to a state inspected processing facility around the age of 6-9 months. It is vacuum sealed and sold frozen. It is kept in deep freezers where the temperature stays at a steady -20 degrees. We strongly believe all of these factors provide the most tender flavor without being too “lamby”.
